Folding exterior mirrors

Description

With this complete set, you have the option of manually folding in your exterior mirrors using the mirror adjustment switch. Folding and unfolding also works when locking the vehicle via the car key.

After retrofitting, you will automatically receive the additional function "passenger mirror lowering".

You must first check whether the built-in door control units support this function. You can order the appropriate Highline door control units here as an option.

You can read the part number via diagnostics or read it directly on the control unit.

The third last number must be a 5. E.g. 5Q0 959 593 K or 5Q0 959 592 K. If you have a 3 in this position, the control unit is unfortunately not capable and must be replaced.

Before ordering, choose whether you need no door control unit, the door control unit on the passenger side or both door control units on the driver/passenger side.

For the coding, the SFD protection of the onboard power supply control unit (BCM) must be unlocked with Odis. To do this, contact your Audi partner.

• Mirror caps are not included and must be taken from the old mirrors
